Built in 1906, the original Artesian has a unique and storied past that makes it one of the most distinctive hotels in Oklahoma history. Its stately architecture and ornate furnishings made it a popular destination for some of the most prestigious guests including movie stars such as John Wayne, Roy Rogers, Dale Evans and others.

The new hotel design is created in homage to the classic building but will include some of the most state-of-the-art amenities and comforts. Once completed, the Artesian Hotel will return to its original glory as one of the iconic locations in southern Oklahoma.

The Artesian will serve as a welcoming destination for those visiting the pristine and scenic area of Murray County, Okla. The Chickasaw Nation Recreation Area, Turner Falls Park, the Arbuckle Mountains, the Chickasaw Cultural Center, Lake of the Arbuckles and many more picturesque locations surround the area and make Sulphur, Oklahoma a family-friendly destination year around.
